Overview
This is a personal portfolio website. It does not have user accounts, sign-up forms, or collect any personal information directly. This policy explains what data is collected automatically and by which third-party tools.
Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics collects anonymised data including pages visited, time spent, device type, browser, and approximate geographic region. This data is processed by Google and is not personally identifiable. You can opt out by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser.
Blog
The blog section is powered by Supabase (hosted PostgreSQL). Visitors can read published posts without signing in.
View counts. View counts displayed next to blog posts are sourced from Google Analytics 4 aggregated data, not from individual tracking. Once a day, a server-side process fetches the total all-time page views per post from the Google Analytics Data API and writes the aggregate number to the database. No individual visitor data is stored in this process — only the total view count per post.
Previously, view counts were also incremented directly on page load using a SHA-256 hashed IP address to deduplicate same-day visits. That raw IP address was never stored and cannot be recovered. The hash was used solely to determine whether a view had already been counted for that post on that day.
The view count shown publicly is an aggregate number only. It is not linked to any individual, not used for advertising, and not shared with third parties beyond what Google Analytics already processes under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish users and sessions. No other cookies are used by this site. Dark mode preference is stored in your browser's localStorage, which never leaves your device.

This site links to GitHub, LinkedIn, YouTube, and LeetCode profiles. These sites have their own privacy policies and are not covered by this document.
